Top 10 of 2013 + GIVEAWAY (The Peanut Shop!)

One of my favorite things about the end of the year is the list-mania that takes place.  The top tens, the round-ups, the reflections of the previous year.  I can spend hours getting lost in such lists.  And, of course, I love creating my own list of the top The Vegan Crew posts, according to you, the readers.  So, without further ado, here are the top 10 posts of 2013!

Thank you so much for making 2013 such a great year here at The Vegan Crew.  Every comment/message/tweet/email I receive brings a smile to my face, and I thank you for reading.  As a token of my appreciation, I am offering one reader the chance to win a package of lightly salted, handcooked Virginia peanuts from The Peanut Shop of Williamsburg!

The Peanut Shop of Williamsburg - Lightly Salted Handcooked Virginia Peanuts (GIVEAWAY) | thevegancrew.com

Over the past year, peanuts have become one of my favorite snacks.  Aside from being tasty (and nutritious), a small handful always satisfies me the way many snacks can’t, helping to tide me over until mealtime.  They’re also a favorite in peanut sauces, tossed into stir-fries and  veggie burgers alike, and, of course, who can resist them chopped and mixed into vegan vanilla ice cream or toffee?

The Peanut Shop of Williamsburg sent a can of the peanuts to us and they were quickly devoured.  We loved the fresh flavor that was enhanced with just a pinch of sea salt.  The Peanut Shop prides itself on using high-quality and all-natural “super extra large” peanuts.  They’re handcooked in small batches using only golden peanut oil — no additives or preservatives — using the same time-honored process they’ve been using since they opened their doors over 40 years ago.

I’m excited that they’ve offered to ship a batch of the same wonderful peanuts I received to one of you!  To enter to win, simply use the Rafflecopter box below (if viewing this via email or an RSS reader, you may need to click through to the site).  You can also order these peanuts (or a variety of others) through their website.  Good luck! :)
